The Importance And Benefits Of Jama’at In Islam

Jamaa’at is the worshiping or offering prayers in congregation, which is though stressed upon, but not obligatory in Islam. There are countless benefits of offering prayers in congregation as it allows unity, solidarity, harmony, brotherhood, and love to flourish, whereas all differences related to class, creed, ethnicity are eliminated with this practice. So, the benefit of offering prayers five times a day, that too in the congregation, can very well be imagined. Praying in congregation even during times of war has been emphasized in the Quran.

The Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon him) used to offer his prayers in congregation, so to follow this practice is actually Sunnah. Regarding this, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said that performing Salah (prayers) in congregation holds twenty-seven times more value than performing it alone. In addition to that, if the believers knew the benefits of offering prayers the night and morning prayers in Jamaat, they’d rush to the Mosque crawling. Get ready yourself to get the December Umrah Packages for UK Family and friends at very low-cost prices.

One of the companions (May Allah be pleased with him) of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) reiterated this importance through a hadith, whose summary reads that anyone offering Jama’at for 40 days with the first takbeer, he will have two salvation written for himself including one from hellfire and one from hypocrisy. In another account, it was said that (summary), those who get up and go to the Mosque in the darkness of the night will be in total enlightenment.

Similarly, in another hadith, it was written that for those people who you see visiting Mosques always, then be a witness that they deserve heaven. In another such account of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), a person asked him what should be done to enter paradise, the Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon him) replied with leading the prayers, followed by being a muezzin, then at least try and be in the first row or be part of the congregation.

The best and biggest examples of congregations can be witnessed in the most sacred and holiest places of Islam which are Makkah and Madinah, those who become part of the huge Jamaat, gain similar amount of virtues. Especially, the ones who plan their Umrah in Ramadan with Ramadan Umrah packages are indeed lucky to able to join the prayers five times a day, observe fast, stand in Taraweeh prayers and pray during the blessed nights of the last Ashra in Ramadan.

Similarly, pilgrims of Hajj may gain the huge amount of virtues during Zil-Hajj as well by planning their Hajj trips with Hajj packages 2016, to gain acceptance of noble deeds performed in accordance with instructions of Allah, forgiveness of sins and doubling the virtues. Also, every dignitary, VIP or ordinary human hold the same place for Allah so you can see all of the above standing shoulders to shoulder without any difference, eliminating all differences.
